The National Sales Director for the Hematology Therapeutic Area will serve as the national sales leader responsible for planning, organizing, and directing sales activities and strategies to ensure effective, compliant promotion of products to physicians and other healthcare providers. Core member of the Hematology cross-functional leadership team; leads a team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Oncology Account Managers (OAMs).

Responsibilities:
- Uphold all laws, regulations, and policies; maintain ethics and integrity.
- Demonstrate leadership skills: instill trust, value differences, execute through teams, drive accountability, provide/receive feedback, develop talent.
- Be integral to Jazz Oncology Franchise leadership.
- Lead Hematology sales team to achieve/exceed sales goals: develop/implement brand strategies; align KPIs and execution with brand strategic drivers; set performance expectations and manage execution/course corrections; cultivate key account and opinion leader relationships; support annual incentive compensation programs and sales contests; develop and manage annual sales budget and quarterly/annual expense budget.
- Coach, develop, and retain high-performing team: identify/develop future capabilities; develop RSM leadership; conduct performance reviews and field contact reports; recognize/reward performance; oversee recruiting/interviewing/hiring and ensure diverse candidate pools.
- Oversee OAM field contacts for messaging and compliance; oversee cross-functional collaboration; partner with marketing, training, medical affairs, market access, commercial operations, and HR.

Required skills/qualifications:
- 10+ years in pharma/life sciences/medical device/biotech/rare disease.
- 2+ years field sales leadership (oncology/hematology preferred); experience leading manager oversight preferred.
- Advanced account management/institutional (hospital/IDN) selling.
- Experience leading teams through change and building high-performing culture.
- Preferred: Marketing, Market Access, Training, Health Systems, or Business Operations.
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented; strong communication; present to large audiences; coordinate with Oncology teams; manage ambiguity; strong analytical/problem-solving/strategic planning/project management.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.

Physical demands/work context (high level):
- Remote; attend meetings in Palo Alto, Carlsbad, Philadelphia, and other field locations; up to 50% travel.
