National Payer Accounts Director

Role: National Payer Accounts Director responsible for strategic engagement with national and regional payer accounts to shape access and reimbursement strategies for Ocular Therapeutix’s ophthalmic therapies. Responsibilities: develop and execute payer account strategies, engage stakeholders across medical, pharmacy, policy, and reimbursement functions, support launch planning for products like AXPAXLI/OTX-TKI and access strategies for DEXTENZA, monitor payer policies and trends, and collaborate cross-functionally to align evidence-based value communication and account engagement. Requirements: bachelor’s degree (advanced preferred); 10+ years in biopharma, medical device, or market access roles with experience calling on payer accounts including PBMs, IDNs, and payers; strong knowledge of medical/pharmacy benefit access, reimbursement, coding, and utilization management. Preferred: experience in ophthalmology, retina, specialty pharmacy, or provider-administered therapeutics; excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
