The Field Sales Trainer drives field force capability development through field coaching, training reinforcement, and National-level pull-through of commercial initiatives. The role partners with the National Director, Area Business Directors, Marketing, and Commercial Training to reinforce effective selling behaviors and support consistent execution of brand strategy.

Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Field Coaching and Sales Capability Development: Conduct field rides/coaching to reinforce approved selling skills, messaging, and execution standards; observe customer interactions and provide timely, actionable coaching; identify development opportunities (selling skills, clinical acumen, account planning, business ownership, customer engagement); support continuous learning and performance excellence; reinforce best practices and desired behaviors.
- National-Level Strategy Pull-Through: Support pull-through of brand strategy, field strategy, and national initiatives; ensure consistency of approved messaging/selling approaches across regions; support marketing campaigns, training programs, launches, and key priorities; translate national direction into practical field application; identify execution barriers and recommend solutions.
- Insights, Feedback, and Gap Identification: Provide regular insights/feedback; identify gaps in messaging/resources/field strategy/training readiness; share observations on customer engagement, competition, market access, and execution challenges; recommend training/tool/messaging/coaching enhancements; act as a feedback conduit.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Area Business Directors; partner with Commercial Training and Marketing; support meetings/workshops/POAs/launch meetings; influence without direct authority.
- Compliance and Operational Excellence: Conduct activities in line with policies and legal/regulatory/compliance requirements; reinforce use of approved materials; maintain required documentation; exercise judgment and escalate concerns.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/specialty sales experience.
- Demonstrated success in field sales, launch execution, or competitive markets.
- Strong sales execution, territory management, account planning, and customer engagement.
- Proven ability to coach/influence/develop others.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to synthesize field insights and provide actionable feedback.
- Ability to travel frequently across the nation.

Preferred Requirements
- Field sales training/sales leadership/mentoring/coaching experience.
- Rare disease and/or Genetics/Endocrine/Metabolics or relevant therapeutic area experience.
- Experience supporting first-in-class launches or highly competitive markets.
- Experience partnering with Marketing, Sales Leadership, and Commercial Training.
- Strong clinical aptitude; ability to translate complex information for field use.
