Position Summary:
Field-based Director, Field Medical (FM) Immunology for Admilparant, leading Field Medical professionals (RADs/RDs and Immunology MSLs) overseeing all phases of associated clinical trials and launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive scientific exchange with Thought Leaders/HCPs/access stakeholders to answer unsolicited scientific and HEOR questions.
- Support and evaluate MSL effectiveness; ensure accurate, compliant responses aligned with local ethical/legal guidelines.
- Assess medical landscape; meet Thought Leaders; stay current on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, trials, and scientific activities.
- Understand competitive landscape; prepare for customer informational needs.
- Ensure collection and delivery of medical insights to medical/commercial teams to support strategy.
- Provide direction to execute Field Medical plan aligned with US Medical Strategy Plan; ensure matrix engagement.
- Support CRO/BMS-sponsored and interventional/non-interventional research; oversee study site identification for recruitment.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance trial enrollment; interact with investigators and educate for referrals.
- Provide feasibility insights for BMS trials (sites/studies) via field knowledge and investigator contacts.
- Ensure investigators apply Pharmacovigilance procedures and alert BMS to adverse events.
- Support MSL liaison role for investigator-sponsored research (ISR) submissions.
- Develop/oversee national Field Medical plan; participate in cross-functional Medical Matrix Teams; support institution/account planning.
- Provide medical/scientific training and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Manage RAD/RD teams; ensure MSL activities align with Medical Plan; ensure compliance with laws/policies.
Qualifications & Experience (required/preferred):
- MD/PharmD/PhD (or science graduate with relevant pharma experience); Pulmonary Fibrosis experience preferred; MBA a plus.
- 8+ years clinical/pharma experience, including 6+ years in FM with demonstrated leadership/people management/medical planning.
- Lead national field medical initiatives; strong account management.
- Cross-functional and matrix leadership; thrives in ambiguity.
- Coaching/mentoring experience; autonomous execution.
- Strong disease knowledge, scientific publications, ASMART goal setting.
- Customer (HCP/payer/patient) needs understanding; pharmacoeconomics implications knowledge.
- US healthcare/pharma industry knowledge; trial design and compliance standards knowledge.
- Strong communication/presentation skills; has served as Product/JV/Launch Point.
Compensation (field, US): $234,600β$284,280; eligibility for incentive cash/stock may be available.
