Position: National Director of Strategic Engagement (reports to VP of Marketing, North America)

Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Manage 8 regionally based Strategic Engagement Directors for their territories.
- Develop and communicate the strategic vision and operational plan for engaging KOLs.
- Develop and oversee KOL mapping plans and execution.
- Build and maintain productive, collaborative, and compliant relationships with peers across Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and Medical Affairs.
- Partner with Field Sales leadership on thought leader-related initiatives and programs.
- Create mechanisms to collect insights, synthesize/integrate them, and communicate to brand teams to inform tactics.
- Ensure compliant, value-added connections across the organization to bring thought leaders closer to Mirum.
- Collaborate with Medical Leadership on engagement strategy/planning, including commercial advisory board support/coordination.
- Engage with KOLs to solicit feedback that shapes brand strategy.
- Contribute to conference/congress marketing strategy (sponsorships, communications/messaging, advocacy group engagement).
- Develop KPIs and metrics with Marketing portfolio leaders and field leadership.
- Serve as primary field point of contact for KOL engagement, speaker identification, and emerging thought leaders.
- Analyze market data, validate reliability, and inform stakeholders.
- Proactively partner with Legal and Compliance to deliver programs with high ethical standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- 10+ years pharmaceutical/related industry experience (required)
- 3+ years working with Hepatology/Gastroenterology KOLs (preferred)

- Strategic, hands-on approach; manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to draw insights from varied sources and understand market/competition.
- Data compilation and analysis.
- Synthesize complex information; identify trends/interrelationships.
- Meet deadlines; improve efficiency/effectiveness; drive ROI.
- Strong project management; coordinate projects with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Travel Requirements
- ~65% domestic travel within the US; live near a major airport.

Compensation
- Salary range: $260,000 to $295,000 USD (base salary only unless otherwise provided).
