National Director, External Expert Engagement, Hematology - REMOTE

Key Responsibilities:
- Define, identify, and maintain the Medical Expert (ME) universe (Tier 1, Tier 2, Rising Stars) within defined scope.
- Conduct and/or orchestrate cross-functional 1:1 ME engagements to gather post-approval insights/feedback (market dynamics, competitive landscape, marketing strategy, tactical execution, patient journey, referral/treatment landscape, product profile) to inform Marketing Strategy (IMST, HCP Education, Congress Strat).
- In partnership with Marketing Strategy, develop advisory board and consultancy submissions; support execution via participation or nomination of ME advisors/consultants.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs to identify, nominate, and/or deploy MEs for market-related situations/needs (e.g., payer initiatives, access challenges).
- Schedule, coordinate, and execute cross-functional ME engagements (site visits, executive/leadership engagements, immersion days).
- Serve as a key contact linking the ME universe to appropriate Novartis teams for follow-up.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (HCP Education Delivery, Marketing Strategy, Field Leadership, Medical Affairs, Compliance) to design and deliver commercial educational programs.
- Serve as moderator/faculty (e.g., Peer Exchange Programs, PXP).
- Support identification/approval of commercial engagements at conferences and events (as permitted), including representing Novartis.
- Develop and execute a cohesive ME engagement plan for national/regional congresses.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (MBA/advanced degree preferred).
- 7+ years Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), Account Management, or related experience.
- 5+ years disease-area experience preferred (required in Specialty Sales) with strong knowledge of thought leaders, institutions, and systems.
- Strong healthcare/pharma industry knowledge and ability to build physician/provider relationships.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills; creative/conceptual thinking.
- Ability to develop and execute key strategies; financial/budgetary experience.
Desirable Requirements:
- 2 years line management/people management experience preferred.
