National Account Molecular Science Liaison

Position Summary
The National Account Molecular Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based Medical Affairs scientific expert responsible for developing and executing strategic scientific engagement across Caris’ largest national oncology networks, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), government healthcare systems, and other strategic enterprise accounts.

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the Medical Affairs scientific lead for assigned national oncology networks, IDNs, government healthcare systems, and other enterprise accounts.
- Develop and execute enterprise scientific engagement strategies aligned with Medical Affairs priorities.
- Establish and maintain scientific relationships with executive clinical leadership, precision medicine committees, medical directors, pathway leaders, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Deliver balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange on molecular diagnostics, biomarkers, comprehensive genomic profiling, and precision oncology.
- Lead and participate in Molecular Tumor Boards (MTBs), scientific advisory meetings, educational programs, and clinical discussions.
- Translate emerging clinical evidence into scientific discussions that support patient care and precision medicine adoption.
- Support enterprise precision medicine initiatives (workflow optimization, biomarker implementation, quality improvement, educational collaborations).
- Partner with Regional Molecular Science Liaisons and Medical Affairs leadership to align enterprise strategy with field execution.
- Develop account profiles, stakeholder maps, engagement plans, executive reports, dashboards, and analyses.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Pathology Operations, Informatics, Business Development) for coordinated engagement.
- Monitor molecular diagnostics trends/competitive intelligence and communicate insights to Medical Affairs leadership.
- Represent Medical Affairs at scientific meetings and government engagements (VA/DoD) as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced clinical or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years oncology Medical Affairs, Molecular Science Liaison, or equivalent field experience.
- Expertise in oncology, molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, biomarkers, and comprehensive genomic profiling.
- Experience engaging executive clinical leaders in complex healthcare organizations.
- Strong scientific communication, presentation, relationship management, collaboration, organizational, analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 75% domestically; residence near a major U.S. airport hub.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet use.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IDNs/community oncology/enterprise healthcare organizations.
- VA and/or DoD healthcare experience.
- Experience leading MTBs.
- Experience developing and executing enterprise scientific engagement strategies.
- Experience with molecular diagnostics, precision oncology implementation, or biomarker-driven clinical programs.
