National Account Director (Zinc/ Caremark)

Role: National Account Director for Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, responsible for securing formulary access and expanding payer relationships for the company's RNAi-based therapies, including the approved treatment Redemplo for FCS and pipeline candidates. Responsibilities: develop and execute strategic relationships with payers such as CVS Caremark and GPOs, communicate product value, lead contract negotiations, collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Finance; monitor payer trends, support launch and post-launch activities, and ensure compliance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 12+ years in pharma/biotech, with 5+ years of national payer account experience, especially with CVS; deep understanding of managed care, Medicare Part D, and rare disease/cardiometabolic launches; proven ability to influence without direct authority, strong communication and negotiation skills; willing to travel up to 50%. Preferred: advanced degrees (MBA, MPH, PharmD).
