Brief Description:
- The National Account Director – Emisar / Optum / United is responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the relationship with Emisar, Optum Rx, and United Healthcare, representing the Jazz portfolio and ensuring appropriate market access within assigned accounts (Commercial and Medicare).

Responsibilities:
- Execute market access strategies to ensure appropriate access and reimbursement for Jazz products.
- Build relationships with key account decision-makers/influencers impacting coverage and reimbursement.
- Influence coverage/reimbursement decisions via policies, guidelines, and contracting.
- Create and execute stakeholder engagement plans; represent Jazz at industry events.
- Coordinate activities/resources as the single point of contact; collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Access Services, PVO/HEOR).
- Conduct quarterly business reviews; maintain strategic account plans.
- Anticipate obstacles and develop mitigation plans; educate stakeholders using marketing tools.
- Serve as subject matter expert and strategically negotiate discount agreements per contracting guidelines and applicable laws.

Qualifications / Skills:
- 10+ years pharma/biopharmaceutical experience; 4+ years success as an Account Manager with National commercial and/or government/Medicaid payers.
- 2+ years direct management or team leadership experience.
- Proven ability to build payer/account relationships; lead cross-organizational projects.
- Knowledge of healthcare/payers; formulary/PDL, coverage and reimbursement, and compliance laws/regulations.
- Proficiency in Business Acumen, Communication, Critical Thinking/Decision-Making, Drive for Results, Influence/Impact, Interpersonal skills, Planning/Organization, and Self-Management.
- Demonstrated integrity, passion, collaboration, innovation, and pursuit of excellence.
- Operate in compliance with company policies.

Benefits/Pay (US candidates only):
- Base pay range: $224,000–$336,000; may include bonus/incentive and equity; medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and flexible paid vacation.
