Position Summary:
- National Account Director (NAD) responsible for strategic national and regional payer account management (Medicare Part D, Commercial Plans, State/Managed Medicaid, and PBMs) to support new product launches and broad patient access.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with C-suite and payer stakeholders (Medical Director, Pharmacy Director, Case Management, Clinical/Financial teams, P&T Members) to identify needs/priorities and product opportunities.
- Influence/integrate care protocols and clinical pathways to address gaps in care and improve outcomes.
- Create and execute strategic/tactical account plans to meet sales/launch initiatives, including interim/final coverage and stakeholder mapping.
- Leverage payer value proposition for optimal formulary/access positions.
- Proactively address issues to ensure alignment and favorable formulary/P&T positioning.
- Achieve market access and access goals via channel strategy and positive formulary coverage.
- Drive business planning and disciplined communication with stakeholders and Field Based Teams.
- Track marketplace intelligence (trends, competitive updates, industry issues, opportunities) and serve as Market Access expert.
- Attend professional association meetings (e.g., ASEMBIA, PCMA, NAMCP) and maintain enterprise perspective.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Required Expertise/Competencies:
- 6+ years National Account Management experience.
- Recent success with CVS Caremark as National Account Manager with positive relationships with key decision makers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Mastery of Medicare Part D channel; experience gaining new branded product acceptance with national sponsors (including CVS Caremark).
- Mastery of Commercial/Government channels; experience gaining branded acceptance with national PBMs/payers (including CVS Caremark/Zinc).
- Ability to use HEOR/pharmacoeconomic data to build value story for formulary acceptance.
- Experience interfacing with C-suite and high-level payer/health system executives.

Expectations:
- Travel up to 50%.

Pay Range:
- $184,000 - $276,000 per year.
