Job Summary
The National Account Director (NAD) serves as the strategic market access leader for assigned enterprise payer and healthcare organization accounts, responsible for developing and executing access strategies that optimize coverage, medical policy, and patient access for UroGen therapies.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise account strategies to optimize coverage, medical policy, and patient access across national, government, regional, and integrated healthcare organization accounts.
- Identify, develop, and execute business opportunities via value-based relationships within targeted payer and healthcare organizations.
- Demonstrate expertise in payment reform, reimbursement policy, and evolving payment models.
- Monitor and interpret Medicare, commercial, and integrated delivery system coverage policies; communicate trends and strategic insights to Commercial and Market Access leadership.
- Establish executive relationships with health plans and key decision makers influencing coverage/medical policies.
- Execute enterprise market access strategies with regional field teams to ensure consistent execution and support.
- Lead or participate in Market Access projects and cross-functional initiatives aligned to organizational priorities.
- Educate and support Regional Business Directors, Key Account Directors, and Field Reimbursement Managers on coverage and reimbursement trends.
- Serve as market access subject matter expert for complex coverage, prior authorization, coding, reimbursement, and payment issues.
- Identify and communicate distribution and product access issues/trends to field and cross-functional partners.
- Provide coverage/market access updates at regional and national meetings.
- Provide payer perspective to distributors, contractors, managed markets, medical, marketing, and brand teams as needed.
- Proactively develop strategies in response to payer/government regulatory decisions.
- Approximately 75% travel required.

Job Requirements
- Indirectly supervises employees through a matrix structure; influences cross-functional teams.
- Minimum 15 years pharmaceutical/biotech experience, including 10+ years in Market Access and Managed Markets.
- Proven relationships with government/commercial payers, integrated delivery systems, professional organizations, and state societies.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage, CMS regulations, specialty distribution, managed care trends, and Part B reimbursement.
- Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial biotechnology environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- BA/BS required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
