Hematology Medical Science Liaison (MSL)/Senior MSL (Sr. MSL)
Responsibilities:
- Identify key thought leaders and establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers (HCPs) in academic and community centers within the assigned territory (OH, KY, WV)
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with regional, national, and global Medical Affairs strategies
- Provide insights/feedback on emerging scientific/clinical data to support appropriate use of products
- Present fair and balanced clinical and scientific information to HCPs in response to unsolicited requests (as appropriate)
- Provide medical/scientific education on disease state and Genmab products
- Support product launches through HCP education for safe use of medicines
- Serve as primary point of contact for investigator sponsored trials (ISTs) from submission through activation/completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams; support Genmab-sponsored trials via site recommendations and awareness/accrual timelines
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, clinical trends, trials, and scientific activities (oncology/hematology)
- Serve as scientific resource to commercial partners (as appropriate)
- Support execution/organization/planning of advisory boards
- Represent the company at select medical/scientific conferences/meetings
Qualifications:
- Advanced/scientific medical degree strongly preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD); NP/PA with extensive hematology/oncology experience considered
- At least 2 years MSL/Medical Affairs experience in Oncology/Hematology preferred
- Strong knowledge/experience of healthcare and access environments
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a high-matrix environment
- Preferred experience with product launches or success as product/therapeutic point
- Excellent communication/presentation, integrity, teamwork, customer focus
- Ability to organize/prioritize in a changing environment
- Strong compliance knowledge; working knowledge of FDA, OIG, ICH, GCP, PhRMA Code, HIPAA and related regulations
- Technical acumen including MS Office; ability to use business applications
