Hematology Medical Science Liaison (MSL)/Senior MSL (Sr. MSL) β Global Medical Affairs (field-based)
Domestic travel ~50%; territory: Ohio, Kentucky & West Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Identify key thought leaders and build/maintain relationships with HCPs in academic/community centers in assigned territory
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned to regional/national/global Medical Affairs strategies
- Provide fair, balanced clinical/scientific information in response to unsolicited requests (as appropriate)
- Provide disease-state and Genmab product medical education to HCPs
- Support product launches via HCP education for safe use of medicines
- Serve as primary point of contact for investigator sponsored trials (ISTs) from submission/review/approval through activation/completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams; support Genmab-sponsored trials (site recommendations, awareness, accrual timelines)
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, clinical trends, clinical trials, and relevant scientific activity (oncology/hematology)
- Support advisory board execution/planning; represent Genmab at select medical/scientific conferences
Qualifications:
- Advanced/scientific medical degree strongly preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD); NP/PA with extensive hematology/oncology experience considered
- At least 2 years MSL/Medical Affairs experience in oncology/hematology focus preferred
- Strong knowledge/experience of healthcare and access environments
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a high-matrix environment (incl. joint ventures)
- Preferred: product launch experience or proven success as product/therapeutic point
- Excellent interpersonal communication/presentation; integrity, teamwork, customer focus
- Strong organization/prioritization; ability to work in a changing environment
- Strong compliance knowledge; working knowledge of FDA, OIG, ICH, GCP, PhRMA Code, HIPAA, and related regulations
- Technical acumen including MS Office and business applications
