Responsibilities:
- Develops, executes, and maintains high-impact territory plans, including HCP and Investigator engagement plans, aligned with Hematology/Oncology objectives with a focus on quality; uses data and analytics to find/maximize opportunities.
- Builds professional, customer-centric relationships with external experts (EEs) in assigned geography.
- Delivers territory plan objectives, meets project deadlines, achieves annual functional goals; generates and documents meaningful data point observations (DPOs).
- Practices core capabilities in segmentation, DPOs, and optimal resource utilization.
- Ensures compliance with applicable Corporate/Divisional policies and procedure, including accurate/timely documentation of HCP interactions.
- Provides education on disease state, therapeutic landscape, and AbbVie products across the product lifecycle.
- Stays current on market issues/trends, product knowledge, and new therapeutic areas of interest; creates awareness and relationships in the medical community.
- Supports research initiatives at R&D request (e.g., site evaluation/identification, recruitment, investigator meetings, external expert identification, external collaboration management).
- Maintains cross-functional field partnerships (including in-field commercial teams and Medical Outcome Science Liaisons) and collaborates on account plans to meet shared business objectives.
- Territory: Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Alaska.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree preferred in a relevant scientific discipline; doctorate strongly preferred (health science/clinical). Significant relevant clinical/industry experience may substitute.
- 2+ years of clinical, scientific/research, or industry related experience (or equivalent).
- Problem-solving and analytic skills to translate territory and corporate needs into action.
- Leadership attributes aligned with company initiatives.
- Ability to learn/apply Scientific Storytelling, Identifying Mobilizers, Powerful Questions, and Active Listening.
- Meet HCIR credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).
- Willing to travel up to 75%.
