Medical Affairs
Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain high-impact territory plans, including HCP and investigator engagement plans; use data/analytics to maximize opportunities.
- Identify, access, and build professional, customer-centric relationships with external experts in assigned geography.
- Deliver territory plan objectives, meet deadlines, achieve annual goals; generate/document meaningful Data Point Observations (DPOs).
- Practice segmentation, DPOs, and optimal resource utilization; ensure compliance with corporate/divisional policies and accurate/timely documentation of HCP interactions.
- Provide education on disease state, therapeutic landscape, and AbbVie products across the product lifecycle.
- Stay current on market issues/trends and product/therapy knowledge; build awareness and relationships in the medical community.
- Support R&D research initiatives (e.g., site evaluation/identification, recruitment, investigator meetings, external expert identification, external collaboration management).
- Maintain cross-functional field partnerships (e.g., in-field commercial teams, site management/monitoring and clinical research associates, Therapeutic Area/HEOR, Medical Outcome Science Liaisons) and help develop/execute account plans.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree preferred in a relevant scientific discipline; doctorate strongly preferred in health science/clinical discipline. Significant clinical/industry experience may substitute.
- β‰₯2 years clinical, scientific/research, or industry experience (or equivalent).
- Problem-solving and analytic skills to translate territory/corporate needs into action.
- Leadership attributes aligned with company initiatives.
- Ability to learn/apply Scientific Storytelling, Identifying Mobilizers, Powerful Questions, and Active Listening.
- Meet HCIR credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).
- Travel up to 75%.
- Live in territory or willing to self-relocate within: Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Alaska.
