Medical Affairs
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted medical/scientific partner to external experts via timely, appropriate, frequent scientific exchanges (1:1 and group settings)
- Engage stakeholders to gather data and develop medical insights; maintain awareness of emerging evidence to inform discussions
- Use strong disease area knowledge and approved materials to articulate scientific/medical value and answer questions (in line with regulatory guidelines)
- Establish and maintain long-term peer relationships (Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders)
- Map, identify, profile, and prioritize stakeholders; execute territory engagement and KOL strategies
- Plan and attend scientific congresses/symposia; organize educational meetings/local scientific advisory boards as requested
- Gather and document stakeholder insights; critically evaluate published studies and stakeholder interactions
- Collaborate internally (Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, etc.) to support positioning, lifecycle evidence planning, compliance needs, and material development
- Support evidence generation: identify data collection opportunities, monitor clinical trial activity, and support investigator-sponsored studies (ISS)

Scope/Outputs:
- Manage ~50 stakeholders; maintain stakeholder tracking database and interaction frequency per stakeholder
- US-level accountability with reporting mainly to Medical Affairs

Basic Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MD/PhD/PharmD/MS/MSN or equivalent)
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass background check
- Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical or medical affairs experience

Preferred:
- MSL or field-based scientific engagement experience

Skills/Knowledge:
- Ability to interpret scientific data; deliver cutting-edge evidence-based information
- Exemplary communication/presentation; leadership and diplomacy
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, regulatory/payer environment, and pharma non-promotional compliance
- Proficiency in digital tools; working knowledge of English as a second language
