Medical Specialist II - Ophthalmology – Washington DC / Baltimore

A Typical Day Might Include The Following
- Report to the Regional Director and develop/manage relationships with Retina Specialists and other customer accounts in the assigned territory.
- Grow revenues and consistently deliver product goals for approved ophthalmology indications.
- Provide technical and clinical product knowledge and support.
- Use Regeneron marketing and operations resources to enhance productivity and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

This Role May Be For You If You
- Have experience in biologics and buy-and-bill products.
- Have a history of high sales performance.
- Have experience with reimbursement programs, government programs, managed care, formulary, and contract negotiation.

Qualifications
- BA/BS in science or business (master’s degree a plus).
- Minimum 5 years’ specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
- Ophthalmology and/or Buy & Bill with relevant retina experience (preferred).
- Residency in the territory required; occasional overnights expected.
