Medical Specialist I-Pulmonology-Los Angeles, CA

The Medical Specialist (Sales Representative), Pulmonology (MS) is responsible for engaging Pulmonologists and other key customers within an assigned geography, presenting clinically focused selling messages to create and grow revenue, and delivering product goals. Demonstrate strong and consistent sales performance that exceeds forecast and expectations related to product goals, in a compliant manner and with integrity.

Discover Your Role
- Develop strategy and implement tactics within key accounts in Pulmonary therapeutic areas to generate product utilization
- Establish and foster relationships with Pulmonary healthcare professionals (physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, office staff) and key patient advocacy support groups
- Collaborate with regional colleagues and other field-based and home office teams to proactively address customer needs
- Analyze market dynamics and trends to develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives
- Participate in initiatives to support sales success (industry congresses, local/regional meetings, medical conferences)

This Role Requires
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Specialty pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience with at least 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 2 years selling in the Respiratory market and/or similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic specialty market
- Proven ability to exceed expectations related to sales goals
- Strong ethics and compliance mindset
- Competitive drive and “grit”
- Effective collaboration with internal/external partners
- Interest in science; proactively strengthen knowledge of disease states, treatments, and healthcare trends
- Advanced clinically based selling skills; results oriented with success in product launches
- Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories
