Responsibilities:
- Engage gastroenterologists and other key customers in an assigned geographic territory to present clinically focused selling messages and grow revenue.
- Deliver product goals and consistently exceed sales forecast and expectations.
- Develop strategy and execute tactics within key gastroenterology accounts to generate product utilization.
- Build strong working relationships with gastroenterologists and, as directed, nurses, office staff, healthcare personnel, and patient advocacy support groups.
- Collaborate with district colleagues, alliance counterparts, and other field/home-office teams to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Participate in and help lead sales initiatives (e.g., congresses, local/regional meetings, medical conferences).

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (required). Masterโ€™s degree or other advanced education/certifications (preferred).
- Specialty pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience.
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience, including minimum 2 years selling in gastroenterology and/or a similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic specialty market.
- Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories.

- Advanced clinically based selling skills.
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments while operating with integrity within compliance guidelines.
- Success influencing large groups, institutional settings, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
- Results-oriented with experience in product launches.
- Passion for science; proactive learning about disease-state, treatment options, and healthcare trends.
- Experience in-servicing and training office staff, nurses, and office managers.
- Ability to partner/collaborate with internal field teams and alliance partners.
