The Medical Specialist (Sales Representative), Gastroenterology will report to the District Manager, Gastroenterology, and will:

Responsibilities
- Engage adult and pediatric Gastroenterologists and other key customers in an assigned geography.
- Deliver clinically focused selling messages to create and grow revenue and consistently meet product goals.
- Develop strategy and execute tactics within key accounts to generate product utilization.
- Build strong working relationships with Gastroenterologists, experts, nurses, office staff, health care personnel, and patient advocacy support groups.
- Collaborate with district colleagues, alliance counterparts, and other field/home office teams to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Participate in initiatives supporting sales success (e.g., congresses and medical conferences).

Required/Preferred Skills & Experience
- Advanced clinically based selling skills.
- Demonstrated success in complex markets with diverse customer segments while maintaining integrity and compliance.
- Experience with large groups, institutional settings, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
- Results-driven with a track record of success with product launches.
- Strong science/disease-state learning aptitude; proactively build knowledge of disease and treatment options.
- In-servicing and training office staff, nurses, and office managers.
- Ability to partner with internal field teams and alliance partners.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; Masterโ€™s degree or advanced education/certifications a plus.
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience; at least 2 years selling in Gastroenterology and/or similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic specialty market.
- Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories.

Location: Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island (field role).
