Role Summary

Medical Specialist I - Allergy - Portland, OR. Our Medical Specialists engage Allergists and other key customers, presenting clinically focused sales messaging to resonate with potential and existing customers. This role requires integrity and alignment with core beliefs and values.

Responsibilities

  • Developing strategy and implementing tactics within key accounts in Allergy/Immunology to generate product utilization
  • Establishing and fostering strong relationships with Allergy/Immunology health care professionals, including physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, office staff, and patient advocacy groups
  • Collaborating with regional colleagues and other field-based and home office teams to proactively address customer needs
  • Analyzing market dynamics and trends to develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives
  • Participating in initiatives to support sales success such as industry congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree or other advanced education/certifications preferred
  • Required: Specialty pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years selling in Immunology or similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic market; Allergy/Immunology experience
  • Required: Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories
