Job Summary
- Field-based medical expert (MSL) supporting ARS products and therapeutic areas by advancing scientific and collaborative relationships, enabling timely knowledge exchange with external healthcare communities and internal stakeholders, and supporting generation of medical-scientific knowledge.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain medical-scientific knowledge; accurately and compliantly interpret and disseminate balanced scientific/clinical/health economic data.
- Lead identification, cultivation, and integration of KOL relationships; support scientific growth and medical evidence generation, including initiatives such as research and CME.
- Identify, develop, and manage KOL relationships across a continuum of advocacy to support company objectives.
- Deliver programs per objectives and educate/disseminate medical-scientific information to internal teams (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, R&D, Sales) and external audiences (HCPs, consumers, patient organizations, distributors, etc.).
- Respond to unsolicited requests with high-level IIS program process information; monitor and communicate IIS progress.
Education & Experience
- PharmD/Doctoral degree in medical/scientific field (preferred).
- RN/MSN or similar advanced degree with strong relevant experience (considered).
- 3β5 years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry (preferred); strong preference in allergy/immunology.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Travel 60β75% (including overnights/weekends); remote independent work.
- Customer focused; strong interpersonal/communication skills and relationship-building.
- Ability to organize/prioritize in a dynamic field environment; strong presentation and writing; results-oriented.
Benefits/Compensation
- Salary range: $180,000β$220,000; may be eligible for discretionary annual performance bonus.
- Eligible for equity and 401(k) matching; benefits include 100% employer-paid Medical, Dental & Vision.
