The Role
Genmab is seeking a Hematology Medical Science Liaison (MSL)/Senior MSL (Sr. MSL) for a Global Medical Affairs field-based team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify key thought leaders and establish and maintain relationships with HCPs in assigned territory (academic and community centers).
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with regional, national, and global Medical Affairs strategies.
- Provide insights/feedback on emerging scientific/clinical data to support appropriate use of Genmab products.
- Present fair and balanced clinical/scientific information in response to unsolicited requests (as appropriate).
- Provide medical and scientific education on disease state and Genmab products.
- Support product launches through HCP education for safe use.
- Serve as primary point of contact for investigator sponsored trials (ISTs) from submission through activation/completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support Genmab-sponsored trials with site recommendations and awareness of trials and accrual timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, treatment trends, clinical trials, and scientific activities (oncology/hematology).
- Serve as scientific resource to commercial partners (as appropriate).
- Support execution, organization, and planning of advisory boards.
- Represent Genmab at select medical/scientific conferences and meetings.
Requirements:
- Advanced/scientific medical degree strongly preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD); NP/PA with extensive hematology/oncology experience considered.
- At least 2 years MSL/Medical Affairs experience in Oncology/Hematology (preferred).
- Strong knowledge/experience of healthcare and access environments.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a high-matrix environment.
- Preferred: experience with product launches or success as product/therapeutic point.
- Excellent communication/presentation, integrity, teamwork, customer focus.
- Ability to organize/prioritize in a constantly changing environment.
- Strong compliance knowledge; current working knowledge of FDA, OIG, ICH, GCP, PhRMA Code, HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
- Technical acumen (MS Office; ability to adopt business applications).
Compensation/Benefits:
- For US candidates: $162,320.00–$243,480.00 salary band (may include discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives).
- Within first year (US regular full-time employees): 401(k) 100% match on first 6%; health (two medical options incl. HDHP/HSA), dental, vision; voluntary plans; paid time off and 12 weeks discretionary paid parental leave; backup care and wellness supports; commuter benefits, tuition reimbursement, Lifestyle Spending Account.
Logistics:
- Domestic travel ~50%; Territory: IL/WI.
