Medical Science Liaison - Southern California

The Field Medical Director is a field-based professional responsible for providing medical and scientific support for Organon’s Dermatology programs across the territory (Southern CA, NV and HI).

Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with HCPs, professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, payers, decision makers, and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in dermatology.
- Present data and conduct balanced peer-to-peer scientific dialogue consistent with company policies.
- Collaborate on the scientific communication plan, medical-to-medical materials, and research; facilitate research collaborations (e.g., investigator-initiated trials) and work with Clinical Development on investigator selection and site performance.
- Assist in scientific training for Commercial and internal colleagues using approved materials.
- Support speaker training and advisory boards as requested.
- Represent the company at national and regional medical meetings and support Medical Information activities as needed.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information in accordance with policies and procedures.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
- PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or equivalent; 5 years clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Dermatology or Allergy/Immunology experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify and drive medical engagement goals.
- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies; ability to evaluate and translate scientific material.
- Travel up to ~50% when appropriate; self-starter; works independently; manages competing priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication; presents to senior stakeholders.
