Responsibilities:
- Execute the external engagement strategy aligned to the therapeutic portfolio and therapy-area plans, ensuring consistent field engagement.
- Identify external experts, professional groups, decision makers, and key stakeholders in the assigned therapy area/geography.
- Respond compliantly to unsolicited information requests from HCPs and associated individuals regarding GSK medicines/indications; provide factual, fair, balanced, scientifically rigorous responses that meet GSK standards, local codes, guidelines, and laws.
- Disseminate safety information as directed (including DHPL); conduct scientific exchange and deliver scientific/pipeline presentations to formulary committees and HCPs per documented unsolicited requests.
- Maintain expertise in evolving therapeutic areas and competitor medicines/vaccines.
- Attend and contribute to regional planning/training (if required) and national/regional scientific/medical meetings.
- Support clinical development and investigator-sponsored studies; collaborate with R&D to improve site performance.
- Conduct individual discussions/meetings with steering committee members, advisory boards, consultants, etc.
- Provide scientific training for sales representatives and training for HCPs/speaker events.
- Partner with matrix colleagues (sales, marketing, market access, etc.) to keep strategies patient- and business-focused.

Qualifications:
- Pharm.D or Ph.D (DNP or MD with medical/clinical focus).
- 2+ years’ experience in human pharmacology/pharmacotherapy with practical clinical application.
- Must live within the specified territory.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-doctoral clinical/pharmaceutical practice residency.
- Pharmaceutical industry or medical liaison experience (therapeutic area experience a plus).
- Prior clinical experience with patient-care decision-making responsibilities.
- Above-average computer literacy/software experience.
