Medical Science Liaison – Rare Immunology (US Medical; field-based, external customer-facing)

Responsibilities:
- Analyze, interpret, and disseminate scientific data; acquire and translate customer insights.
- Build and maintain KOL/HCP relationships aligned to individual territory medical strategy.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Takeda disease areas/products and competitor landscape; disseminate complex scientific information in a compliant, fair-balanced, non-misleading manner.
- Support Takeda-sponsored research and strategically aligned medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research.
- Collect, interpret, and internally communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to inform/refine medical strategies and tactics.
- Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
- Execute medical strategy at conferences; communicate insights from posters/sessions and KOL/HCP interactions.
- Respond to unsolicited HCP medical inquiries referred by Medical Information (within timelines/quality standards).
- Complete required customer activity documentation, training, expense reporting, and other administrative responsibilities (timely, accurate, compliant).

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA) minimum; doctoral degree preferred (PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalent).
- 0–2 years healthcare/related experience (post professional degree).
- Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and collaboration.

Desired skills/experience:
- Dissemination of complex scientific data; therapeutic area expertise; clinical/research/teaching experience.
- Ability to work in virtual/cross-functional teams; legal/regulatory/compliance execution.
- Use of digital tools, including AI, to improve productivity.

Travel:
- Up to 70% travel; some overnight/weekend.
- Drive/fly to meetings; clean and valid driver’s license.

Territory:
- PA, OH, MI, NYC, NJ, and DE (must reside in territory).
