Medical Science Liaison – Rare Immunology (PA, OH, MI, NYC, NJ, DE)

About the role: Medical Science Liaison – Rare Immunology (field-based, external customer-facing). Report to the Director, Field Medical. Territory: PA, OH, MI, NYC, NJ, DE (must reside in territory).

Responsibilities:
- Analyze, interpret, and disseminate scientific data; acquire and translate customer insights.
- Build and maintain KOL/HCP relationships aligned to territory plans and medical strategy (KOL/HCP activities = minimum 80%).
- Demonstrate advanced disease/product and competitor landscape knowledge; communicate complex scientific information compliantly (fair-balanced, non-misleading).
- Support Takeda-sponsored research; assist with medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research.
- Collect, interpret, and communicate medical insights to refine medical strategies/tactics.
- Identify/cultivate partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and US Medical.
- Participate in medical conferences; share insights from posters/sessions and KOL/HCP interactions.
- Respond to unsolicited HCP inquiries (as referred by Medical Information) within timelines/quality standards.
- Complete required documentation (CRM/insights capture), training, expense reporting, and admin tasks accurately and compliantly.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA) minimum; Doctoral degree preferred (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent).
- 0–2 years healthcare/related experience after awarding professional degree.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and collaboration.

Desired skills/experience:
- Dissemination of complex scientific data; therapeutic area expertise; clinical/research/teaching experience.
- Ability to work in virtual and cross-functional teams; execute within legal/regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Use digital tools, including AI.

Travel: Up to 70% (overnight/weekend included); drive/fly to meetings; clean valid driver’s license.
