Medical Science Liaison β Rare Immunology (Field-based, external customer-facing)
How you will contribute:
- Analyze, interpret, and disseminate scientific data; acquire and translate customer insights; foster external expert networks
- Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs aligned to individual territory plans and medical strategy
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Takeda disease areas/products and the competitor landscape; disseminate complex scientific information in a compliant, fair-balanced, non-misleading manner
- Support Takeda-sponsored research and facilitate strategically aligned medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research
- Collect, interpret, and internally communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to refine medical strategies/tactics
- Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and US Medical
- Execute medical strategy at medical conferences; respond to unsolicited HCP inquiries referred by Medical Information
- Complete customer activity documentation (CRM entries, insights capture), training, expense reporting, and other administrative tasks in a timely, accurate, compliant manner
Minimum requirements/qualifications:
- Masterβs degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA) minimum; doctoral degree preferred (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent)
- 0β2 years healthcare/related experience after professional degree (managed markets, clinical practice, research, or academic)
- Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and collaboration
Other desired skills:
- Dissemination of complex scientific data; therapeutic area knowledge; clinical/research/teaching experience
- Ability to work in virtual/cross-functional teams; execute within legal/regulatory/compliance requirements
- Use of digital tools including AI to improve productivity
Travel: Up to 70% (including some overnight/weekends); must drive/fly; clean and valid driverβs license
