The Medical Science Liaison is a field-based professional responsible for providing medical and scientific support for Organon’s Women’s Health programs.

Territory includes: ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY

Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with HCPs, professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, payers, decision makers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in Women’s Health.
- Present data and conduct balanced peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with HCPs, academic institutions, clinical investigators, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate on development and implementation of scientific communication plans, medical-to-medical materials, and research; facilitate research collaborations (e.g., investigator-initiated trials) and support investigator selection and site performance/recruitment with Clinical Development.
- Assist in scientific training for Commercial and other internal colleagues using approved materials.
- Provide scientific expertise and support for speaker training and advisory boards.
- Represent Organon at national and regional medical meetings; support Medical Information booth activities; cultivate relationships and scientific exchange.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information in accordance with policies and procedures.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
- PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA or equivalent; five years clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Women’s Health experience preferred.
- Ability to build long-term collaborative relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; strong communication and presentation skills (including senior stakeholders).
- Demonstrated medical engagement skills; understanding of clinical research methodologies and ability to translate scientific material.
- Travel locally/regionally/nationally up to ~50% when appropriate.
- Self-starter; works well in fast-paced environments; manages competing timelines and works independently.
