Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Neuropsychiatry
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic/community research thought leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions via 1:1, group, and remote interactions.
- Present scientific information accurately and comply with ethical/legal guidelines and local procedures; respond to questions.
- Assess the medical landscape with external experts; continuously update knowledge on treatment strategies, unmet needs, products, clinical trials, and HEOR; monitor competitive landscape.
- Identify opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and ISR aligned with BMS strategy.
- Attend medical congresses/local meetings and communicate meaningful insights to medical/commercial teams.
- Create geography-specific Field Medical and TL Interaction plans; contribute to institution/account plans.
- Provide cross-functional medical support; support training and deliver scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
- Support promotional meetings and assigned Congress activities.
- Support interventional/non-interventional research: site identification/feasibility, ISR submission/execution follow-up, pharmacovigilance procedural adherence and AE alerting; support CRO-sponsored studies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, PA-C, etc.) AND 3β5+ years MSL or clinical practice experience.
- Psychiatry/mental health/schizophrenia MSL or clinical practice experience with a proven record of successful collegial relationships.
Knowledge/Skills Desired
- Disease/clinical publication knowledge; clinical trial design/process; national access environment; HEOR core concepts; excellent spoken/written English.
- Strong communication/presentation; independent/teamwork; translate data for physicians; peer-to-peer Thought Leader/HCP relationships.
Essential Qualification / Travel
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; safe, responsible driving history.
- Field-based; live within the territory or within 50 miles; majority time in the field with external customers.

- $166,090β$201,262 (field, U.S.). Additional incentive opportunities may be available.
