Medical Science Liaison (MSL) β€” Field Medical (Sleep Program)

Responsibilities:
- Identify, establish, and maintain productive clinical and scientific relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) (individual physicians and researchers)
- Collaborate with Clinical Development and Clinical Operations to increase awareness and participation in ongoing Alkermes clinical trials
- Serve as a conduit to investigators and key organizations interested in developing research collaborations with Alkermes
- Maintain knowledge of regional thought leaders and develop a territory management plan
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical/scientific information
- Provide clinical presentations and educational information in academic, community, and healthcare provider settings
- Attend and provide Medical Affairs support at scientific conferences
- Provide subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders
- Share field insights with internal colleagues
- Maintain and update therapeutic area knowledge relevant to Alkermes

Qualifications:
- Doctoral-level degree or advanced practice credential in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biological Sciences, Public Health, or related field (e.g., Pharm.D., M.D., Ph.D., D.N.P., N.P., P.A.)
- 1–3 years as a high-performing MSL preferred; clinical sleep medicine experience may be considered
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently with responsiveness to direction
- Strong leadership skills and positive, innovative attitude
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
- Outstanding collaboration skills
- Experience supporting clinical trials
- Willingness to travel (up to 75%)

Preferred:
- Pharmaceutical industry, clinical, or research experience in sleep or related therapeutic area
- Pre-launch and post-launch experience
- Ability to read, interpret, and convey complex scientific information
- Knowledge of Phase II–IV clinical development
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations/guidelines/standards
- Experience leading formally or informally in teams

Compensation/Benefits:
- Annual base salary: $180k–$190k; performance-based bonus target; eligibility for long term incentive program; competitive benefits package.
