Position: Medical Science Liaison, Hematology-Myeloid (Field β Southern CA/HI)
Responsibilities
- Identify and address disease/product medical needs in assigned geography.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) to drive meaningful scientific exchange, support safe/appropriate use of BMS medicines, and facilitate research.
- Identify and grow relationships with academic/community research thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders; interact via 1:1, group presentations, remote, etc.
- Assess medical landscape (needs, expertise, treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials); understand competitive landscape and respond to informational needs.
- Partner with HCPs on disease-state initiatives and collaborative/investigator-sponsored research and company-sponsored trials aligned to BMS strategy.
- Provide scientific support at medical congresses and local/regional meetings.
- Collect/communicate medical insights to medical organizations to support strategy development.
- Support clinical trials (recruitment/enrollment and safe/effective use of investigational products); advise clinical development on study/site feasibility.
- Serve as primary liaison for investigator-initiated research (ISRs).
Required Experience / Qualifications
- PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP, or MD with Hematology/Oncology experience and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
Knowledge/Skills (desired)
- Scientific/clinical area knowledge; clinical trial design/process; disease area/publications; healthcare access environment.
- Excellent English (spoken/written); translate data for HCPs; strong communication/presentation; peer-to-peer relationship building; independent/team work; quick learning.
Experience (desired)
- 3+ years in clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience.
Essential
- Ability to drive a company-provided car.
Travel
- Travel required; live in territory or within 50 miles.

- $168,220β$203,837 (US, field, full-time). Additional incentive may be available.
