The Medical Science Liaison (MSL/Sr. MSL) will develop/enhance professional relationships with medical thought leaders to support Genmab approved products and products in clinical development. Provides scientific/clinical information via fair-balanced exchange and supports new product launch excellence. Executes field medical activities with cross-functional teams to ensure differentiated customer experience and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Identify key thought leaders and maintain HCP relationships in academic/community centers within assigned territory
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with US/regional Medical Affairs strategies
- Provide insights/feedback on emerging scientific/clinical data to support appropriate use of Genmab products (compliant)
- Present clinical/scientific information in response to appropriate unsolicited requests
- Provide disease-state and Genmab product education; support safe medicine use during launches
- Primary point of contact for investigator sponsored trials (ISTs) from submission/approval through activation/completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams; drive engagement of HCPs in Genmab-sponsored trials
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, treatment trends, trials, and scientific activities in head & neck focus areas
- Serve as scientific resource to commercial partners (as appropriate)
- Support advisory board planning/execution; represent Genmab at select conferences/meetings
Requirements:
- PharmD/PhD/MD strongly preferred; NP/PA and extensive oncology MSL experience considered
- Preferred: 2+ years MSL/Medical Affairs in Oncology/Solid Tumor
- Strong healthcare/access environment knowledge; ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a matrix
- Preferred product launch experience or success as product/therapeutic point
- Excellent communication/presentation, integrity, teamwork, customer focus
- Strong organization/prioritization in a changing environment; strong compliance knowledge and adherence to corporate compliance policies
- Working knowledge of FDA/OIG/ICH/GCP/PhRMA Code/HIPAA and industry regulations
- Strong technical skills (MS Office) and ability to use business applications
