Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Allergy/Immunology (Florida/PR)
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide non-promotional scientific, educational, and research support for Dupilumab–Asthma in the Florida/PR territory.
- Maintain asthma treatment landscape knowledge (strategies, competitors, developments).
- Build and maintain relationships with Respiratory experts, investigators, and institutions; develop an advocacy base for the Immunology franchise.
- Deliver medical education to HCPs via office visits, investigator meetings, advisory boards, and medical meetings.
- Coordinate/optimize educational and research support for clinical trial sites/investigators with Clinical and CRA teams.
- Respond to unsolicited requests related to investigator-sponsored studies (ISS) and support ISS submissions.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information.
- Provide tailored clinical/scientific presentations; communicate key clinical/research insights to internal departments.
- Identify medical community educational needs for asthma management and appropriate/inappropriate product use.
- Maintain clinical expertise via symposiums, scientific workshops, journal reviews, and required training.
- Ensure appropriate communication with Medical, Regulatory, and Legal personnel; adhere to compliance policies.
- Address local/regional educational gaps; provide field updates; manage administrative/reporting needs.
- Travel ~60%+ (domestic/international as needed).
Main Qualifications/Skills:
- MD, PharmD, PhD (or doctoral-level degree preferred) and 2 years related pharma/biotech experience.
- 5+ years relevant Respiratory clinical experience.
- Clear understanding of regional medical practice and clinical decision-making.
- Must reside in the Florida/PR territory.
- Ability to identify unmet medical/educational/research needs and translate scientific data into educational/research needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in field medical asthma (Respiratory/Immunology).
- Disease area knowledge and/or prior pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver evidence-based cutting-edge scientific data.
- Understanding of healthcare systems affecting patient care.
