Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Immunology (Admilparant) — Field (WI, IL incl. Chicago)
Role Purpose
- Identify disease/product medical needs in a defined geography and drive scientific exchange to enhance medical education, data/insight generation, and patients’ access to medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Build/maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs), HCPs, and access stakeholders; answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions.
- Present accurately and compliantly using scientific resources (1:1, group, remote); assess the medical landscape and continuously update knowledge.
- Understand competitive landscape; support disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator sponsored research (ISR) aligned to strategy.
- Attend medical congresses/meetings; collect and communicate medical insights to internal teams.
- Create Field Medical/TL interaction plans; contribute to institution/account plans and local medical programs.
- Collaborate with cross-matrix field teams; provide medical/scientific and product training; support promotional meetings; participate in congress activities.
- Support interventional and non-interventional research; site feasibility/recruitment input; ISR support; ensure pharmacovigilance document understanding and report adverse events.
Position Requirements
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with disease-area/broad medical background and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Disease-area/scientific publication knowledge; clinical trial design/process knowledge; national healthcare/access environment knowledge; HEOR core concepts; excellent English.
Experience Desired
- 2+ years in clinical/pharma environment; prior MSL experience; independent/team-based work; peer-to-peer relationship building; strong communication/presentation; ability to learn quickly; demonstrate BMS values.
Essential/Travel
- Drive a company-provided car; live in/manage territory or within 50 miles; travel required; majority of time in field.
Compensation/Benefits (explicit)
- Field US$166,090–$201,262; additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
