Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Immunology (Field - VA)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic/community thought leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders to address scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions.
- Use multiple channels (1:1, group, remote) to present accurate medical/scientific information and respond to questions.
- Assess the medical landscape; update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and HEOR.
- Understand competitive landscape and evolving healthcare models.
- Identify partnership opportunities with HCPs (disease initiatives, collaborative research, ISR) aligned to BMS objectives.
- Attend medical congresses/meetings; collect and communicate medical insights to medical/commercial teams.
- Create geography-specific Field Medical/TL interaction plans; contribute to institution/account plans and medical programs.
- Establish compliant collaboration with cross-matrix field teams; support training and internal scientific updates.
- Provide scientific support at promotional meetings; participate in assigned congress activities.
- Support interventional/non-interventional studies (site identification, feasibility recommendations, ISR support, pharmacovigilance procedures/AEs, CRO-sponsored studies).
Position Requirements/Qualifications
- MD/PharmD/PhD/APP/PA/NP with disease area or broad medical + relevant pharma experience.
- Disease area knowledge; scientific publication understanding.
- Knowledge of clinical trial design/process; national healthcare/access environment; HEOR core concepts.
- Excellent English (spoken/written).
- Desired: 2+ years clinical/pharma experience; prior MSL experience; independent/team collaboration; strong communication/presentation.
- Essential: drive a company-provided car; safe driving/ethics; travel required.
- Field-based: live in territory or within 50 miles of borders.
