Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Immunology
Responsibilities
- Identify disease/product medical needs in defined geography; develop/maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and HCPs.
- Engage in meaningful scientific exchange to support patient access and safe/appropriate use; serve as a medical resource.
- Answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions; use multiple interaction channels (1:1, group, remote).
- Present accurate medical information and respond to questions per ethical/legal guidelines.
- Assess the medical landscape; continuously update knowledge (treatment strategies, unmet needs, clinical trials, HEOR).
- Understand competitive landscape; identify partnership opportunities (disease initiatives, collaborative research, ISR).
- Attend medical congresses/meetings; collect and communicate medical insights to medical/commercial teams.
- Build geography-specific field medical/TL interaction plans and contribute to cross-functional institution/account plans.
- Provide medical support and cross-matrix training/updates; support promotional meetings.
- Support clinical trials (interventional/non-interventional): study site identification, feasibility recommendations, ISR submission/execution support, pharmacovigilance document adherence, CRO study support.
Qualifications / Requirements
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with disease-area experience or broad medical background and relevant pharma experience.
- Knowledge of scientific publications; clinical trial design; national healthcare/access environment; HEOR.
- Excellent English (spoken/written).
- Desired: 2+ years clinical/pharma experience; prior MSL experience; independent/teamwork; peer-to-peer relationship building; translate data for physicians; strong communication.
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; ethics/integrity and safe driving history.
- Travel required; live in/within 50 miles of territory.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Salary range (US field): $166,090β$201,262.
