Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Immunology
Key Responsibilities
- Develop/maintain relationships with academic/community thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions in a defined geography.
- Use multiple interaction channels (1:1, group presentations, remote) and present/respond with medical accuracy and compliance.
- Assess the medical landscape with TL/HCPs/access stakeholders; update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, HEOR, and scientific activities.
- Understand competitive landscape and support customer informational needs.
- Identify partnership opportunities with HCPs (disease initiatives, collaborative research, ISR) aligned with company objectives.
- Attend medical congresses/local/regional meetings; collect and communicate meaningful medical insights.
- Create geography-specific Field Medical and TL Interaction plans; contribute to cross-functional institution/account plans.
- Support medical/scientific and product training and provide scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
- Provide scientific support at promotional meetings and congress activities.
- Support interventional and non-interventional research studies (site identification/feasibility), ISR submission/execution follow-up, pharmacovigilance document adherence, and CRO-sponsored studies.
Position Requirements (Qualifications)
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with disease-area or broad medical background and relevant pharma experience.
- Knowledge of disease area/scientific publications, clinical trials, national healthcare/access environment, HEOR core concepts, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent English (spoken/written).
Experience Desired
- 2+ years clinical/pharma environment; prior MSL experience; independent/team-based work; translate data for physicians; communication/presentation and peer-to-peer relationship skills.
Essential Qualification / Travel
- Must be able to drive a company-provided car; safe/ethical driving history.
- Travel required; live in territory managed or within 50 miles; majority of time in the field.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Field (US): $166,090β$201,262; additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
