Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Immunology – Admilparant (Field: N. CA)
The MSL is responsible for identifying disease/product medical needs in a defined geography, developing and maintaining relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs), and facilitating meaningful scientific exchange to support medical education, data generation, insight generation, patient access, safe/appropriate use, and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop/maintain relationships with academic/community research TLs, HCPs, and access stakeholders; answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions.
- Use multiple channels (1:1, group, remote) to present accurate information and respond to questions.
- Assess the medical landscape; update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and HEOR.
- Understand competitive landscape and healthcare models; prepare to address customer informational needs.
- Identify partnership opportunities (disease state initiatives, collaborative research, ISR) aligned to strategy.
- Attend medical congresses/meetings; collect and communicate medical insights to support strategy.
- Create geography-specific Field Medical/TL interaction plans; contribute to cross-functional institution/account plans.
- Provide compliant medical support and internal scientific training/updates; support promotional meetings.
- Support clinical trial activities (NIR/interventional): site identification/feasibility, ISR support, pharmacovigilance document adherence/AE alerting, and CRO study support.
Position Requirements
- MD/PharmD/PhD/AP/PA/NP with disease-area or broad medical background and relevant pharma experience.
- Disease area knowledge; scientific publication understanding; clinical trial design/process knowledge.
- Knowledge of clinical/competitive landscape, national healthcare/access environment, and HEOR core concepts.
- Excellent English (spoken/written).
Experience Desired
- 2+ years clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience.
- Independent/team player; translate scientific/clinical data for physicians; strong communication/presentation; peer-to-peer relationship building; ability to learn new subjects quickly; demonstrate BMS values.
Essential/Travel
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; safe driving history; be ready to demonstrate applied healthcare trends.
- Travel required; field-based role—live in territory or within 50 miles.
Compensation (US Field)
- $166,090–$201,262 (plus potential incentive cash/stock based on eligibility).
