Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Immunology
Location: Field (Los Angeles, CA, HI)
Responsibilities
- Identify disease and product-related medical needs in a defined geography.
- Build and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) to drive meaningful scientific exchange.
- Answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions using appropriate channels (1:1, group, remote, etc.).
- Present accurate medical information and respond to questions per local ethical/legal/compliance guidance.
- Assess the medical landscape; continuously update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and HEOR.
- Understand competitive landscape and evolve to address customer informational needs.
- Partner with HCPs on disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and ISR aligned with strategic objectives.
- Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings; collect and communicate medical insights to internal teams.
- Develop geography Field Medical and TL Interaction plans; contribute to institution/account planning and medical programs.
- Provide internal training and scientific updates to cross-functional teams.
- Support promotional meetings with scientific/clinical data and speaker support (as applicable).
- Support clinical trials (interventional and non-interventional): site assessment, feasibility input, ISR support, pharmacovigilance documentation adherence, CRO study support.
Qualifications / Requirements
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with relevant pharmaceutical experience and disease-area or broad medical background.
- Knowledge of scientific publications; clinical trial design/process; national healthcare/access environment; HEOR core concepts.
- Excellent English (spoken/written).
Experience Desired / Skills
- 2+ years in clinical/pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience.
- Independent, team-oriented; strong communication/presentation; ability to learn new areas quickly; ability to translate data for physicians; peer-to-peer relationship building; demonstrate BMS values.
- Valid ability to drive company-provided car and travel; live within territory or within 50 miles.

- Field US: $166,090β$201,262 (plus possible incentives/stock based on eligibility).
