Medical Science Liaison (MSL) — Territory: Pacific Northwest (OR, WA, ID, MT, AK)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with national/regional External Experts and healthcare professionals in Psychiatry and Movement Disorders.
- Engage in fair-balanced scientific exchange; provide education to healthcare providers on Teva products and disease states of interest.
- Provide clinical research support in Movement Disorders and Psychiatry.
- Develop and demonstrate working knowledge of Teva, its products, and relevant medical/scientific research and publications.
- Develop collaborative relationships with professional organizations to foster scientific/clinical education.
- Provide medical/scientific support and presentations for healthcare professionals and internal cross-functional partners.
- Respond to medical information requests and unsolicited questions in a compliant manner.
- Represent Teva at select medical meetings and programs.
- Assist clinical development with identifying investigators/sites for company-sponsored clinical trials.
- Complete accurate, timely administrative reports and required documentation.
Travel: Overnight travel up to 60%; may include evening/weekend events.
Qualifications:
- Terminal scientific doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DO, PharmD, PsyD).
- Minimum 10 years relevant therapeutic and/or clinical experience in neuropsychiatric fields (or 3+ years relevant MSL experience).
Preferred:
- 1+ year direct patient care with severe mental illness (e.g., schizophrenia) and/or tardive dyskinesia.
- 1+ year pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Effective oral presentation skills; experience publishing therapeutic research.
