Medical Science Liaison, IgG4 – Rare Disease (Territory: North/Central Florida)

What You Will Do
- Serve as a scientific liaison to the medical/scientific community; establish, develop, and maintain relationships with prominent experts and clinicians across the US.
- Network with external customers (medical thought leaders, academic institutions, large group practices, medical directors, managed care decision makers, pharmacy directors) in alignment with compliance guidelines.
- Communicate scientific/medical information and product commercial value; obtain and integrate customer feedback.
- Identify and address unmet customer needs using internal resources.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities supported by scientific, medical, and health economic information.
- Identify potential speakers and train on scientific content for sponsored speaker programs.
- Support Medical/Clinical strategy at national/regional conferences; monitor clinical trends.
- Evaluate and facilitate external clinical research collaborations and investigator-initiated trials (IITs) and company-sponsored trials.
- Monitor competitive environment and provide feedback to senior leadership.

What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree, OR
- Master’s degree + 3 years Medical Affairs experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree + 5 years Medical Affairs experience.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Pharm.D./Ph.D./M.D./D.O. (or other doctoral degrees considered)
- 2 years proven biotech/pharma scientific/medical affairs experience
- Exceptional oral/written communication and networking/interpersonal skills
- Travel up to 60%; possible work up to 15-hour days
- Ability to learn new business applications (e.g., PC, iPad); proficient in Microsoft Office
- Professional, proactive demeanor; strong interpersonal skills; excellent written/verbal communication
