Medical Affairs
Responsibilities:
- Identify, map, and engage relevant healthcare professionals and accounts (academic/community HCPs, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurses) to address educational needs and inform medical plans.
- Educate and engage HCPs on disease state, product information, emerging data, clinical trials, unmet medical needs, patient access barriers, and market dynamics; collect and communicate insights to influence medical strategy across the product lifecycle.
- Develop and execute strategic territory and engagement plans aligned with medical strategy, including planning scientific interactions and supporting clinical trials through appropriate medical activities and cross-functional collaboration.
- Serve as a therapeutic area and medicines resource by maintaining in-depth knowledge of the therapeutic landscape and anticipating customer educational needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Marketing, Sales, etc.) to deliver aligned medical solutions and participate in Field Medical/cross-enterprise projects.
- Comply with GSK policies/Code of Conduct; complete required training, documentation, and administrative tasks.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must reside within the territory.
- Doctorate (PharmD/PhD/MD) or masterβs (e.g., MSN, ANP, MS, MPH) in a clinical/medical field.
- Oncology, pharmaceutical industry, clinical, or academic experience.
- 2+ years in human pharmacology/pharmacotherapy (preferably oncology).
- Experience with peer-to-peer scientific dialogue; delivering medical-based presentations.
- Ability to identify medical engagement opportunities and develop scientific engagement goals.
- Proven relationship-building with external and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage a multi-state territory with 60β75% travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Prior clinical experience with direct/indirect decision-making authority for patient care.
- Above-average computer literacy (incl. AI/digital fluency) and software experience.
