Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) are field-based, externally facing scientists supporting the US Medical Affairs organization. Covering the Northeast (NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME).

Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers in hematology/oncology.
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with US Medical Affairs.
- Identify and communicate key clinical/research insights from KOLs to appropriate departments.
- Deliver medical education to HCPs via on-site presentations, investigator meetings, conferences, advisory boards, and regional meetings.
- Support field activities including medical congress staffing and advisory boards.
- Maintain high-level, up-to-date therapy area and product knowledge (including emerging research, barriers/trends, competitive landscape).
- Establish trust as a scientific/medical information resource.
- Provide clinical presentations and respond to unsolicited questions (as appropriate) in academic/community settings (group and 1:1).
- Communicate emerging data and product clinical experience objectively through scientific exchange.
- Contribute to US Medical Plan development; provide local strategy/tactics.
- Where needed, manage relevant budget.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support Key Account Management.
- Interact with HCPs to support Medical Plan-aligned activities (advisory boards, speaker development, clinical trials).
- Document and forward adverse events and product complaints; adhere to national/local Codes of Practice; act ethically with integrity.

Required skills/knowledge:
- Research, critically analyze, and communicate complex scientific/medical data.
- Clear communication/presentation; strong planning/organization; attention to detail.
- Strategic mindset; self-motivated/autonomous; learn quickly and adapt.
- Negotiation skills; interpersonal relationship building/networking.
- Ability to work with digital platforms/tools; excellent spoken English.

Preferred:
- Knowledge of geography/healthcare environment and external experts; trust-building with opinion leaders.
- Understanding regulatory requirements for field-based personnel.

Education/licenses & experience:
- Advanced degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent) + 3+ years in hematologic malignancies; OR
- License (RN/NP/CNP/PA or equivalent) + Master’s (or equivalent) + 5+ years in hematologic malignancies.
- 2+ years as an MSL or comparable industry/clinical role.
- Strong track record in hematologic malignancies (preferred).
- Travel ~60% and valid driver’s license; live near a major airport.

Compensation/benefits (US-based candidates only, if listed):
- Base pay range: $160,000–$240,000; may include bonus/incentive and discretionary equity; medical/dental/vision, 401k, flexible paid vacation.
