Medical Science Liaison (MSL) โ Northeast (NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME)
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and HCPs in hematology/oncology.
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with US Medical Affairs.
- Identify and communicate key clinical/research issues from KOLs to appropriate departments.
- Deliver medical education via on-site presentations, investigator meetings, national conferences, advisory boards, and regional meetings.
- Support field activities including medical congress staffing and advisory boards.
- Maintain high-level knowledge of the therapy area, Jazz products, research trends, therapeutic barriers, and competitive landscape.
- Provide objective scientific exchange on benefits/risks; respond to unsolicited questions (as appropriate) in group and 1:1 settings.
- Contribute to US Medical Plan development and local strategy/tactics; manage relevant budget (where needed).
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support Key Account Management.
- Ensure adverse event/product complaint reporting and adherence to national/local Codes of Practice; act ethically and as an ambassador.
Required Qualifications:
- PharmD/MD/PhD (or equivalent) with 3+ years in hematologic malignancies OR RN/NP/CNP/PA (or equivalent) with Masterโs (or equivalent) and 5+ years in hematologic malignancies.
- 2+ yearsโ experience as an MSL or comparable industry/clinical role.
- Willing to travel ~60%; valid driverโs license; live near a major airport.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of healthcare environment and external experts; ability to build trust with opinion leaders; understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based personnel.
