Medical Science Liaison (MSL) โ€“ Northeast (NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, and ME)

Essential Functions
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and healthcare providers in hematology/oncology.
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with US Medical Affairs.
- Identify and communicate key clinical/research issues and insights from KOLs to appropriate departments.
- Participate in medical education via on-site presentations, investigator meetings, national conferences, advisory boards, and regional meetings.
- Support additional field activities (e.g., medical congress staffing, advisory boards).

Scientific Expert
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapy area, Jazz products, emerging research, therapeutic barriers/trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Act as a trustworthy scientific/medical information source.
- Support Jazzโ€™s scientific authority positioning in hematology/oncology by attending scientific congresses.
- Understand local/national clinical practice protocols and disease management trends in the US.
- Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions (group/one-on-one).
- Communicate emerging data and product clinical experience objectively.
- Provide scientific support for congress staffing, advisory boards, and sales training initiatives.

Medical Affairs Planning
- Contribute to the US Medical Plan and provide input on local strategies/tactics.
- Where needed, manage relevant budget to execute Medical Plan tactics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support Key Account Management.
- Interact with HCPs to support Medical Plan activities (advisory boards, speaker development, clinical trials).

- Strategic mindset; self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Ability to learn quickly, be flexible, and results-focused.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building/networking skills.
- Strong digital platform/tool capabilities.
- Excellent command of spoken English.

Preferred
- Knowledge of geography/healthcare environment and external experts (academia/medical community).
- Demonstrated ability to develop trust with opinion leaders.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based personnel.

Education & Licenses
- PharmD/MD/PhD (or equivalent) + 3+ years hematologic malignancies.
OR
- RN/NP/CNP/PA (or equivalent) + Masterโ€™s (or equivalent) + 5+ years hematologic malignancies.
- Minimum 2+ years MSL or comparable industry/clinical role.
- Field role: travel ~60%.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; live near a major airport.
