Territory/Role:
Field-based position covering the Northeast (NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, and ME). Works with medical thought leaders and HCPs.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Develop peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and HCPs in hematology/oncology.
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with US Medical Affairs.
- Identify and communicate key clinical/research insights to internal departments.
- Support medical education via on-site presentations, investigator meetings, national conferences, advisory boards, or regional meetings.
- Support additional field activities (e.g., medical congress staffing, advisory boards).
- Maintain deep therapy/product knowledge; be a trusted scientific resource.
- Communicate emerging data objectively; provide clinical presentations in response to unsolicited questions.
- Contribute to US Medical Plan; provide input on local strategies; support budget management where needed.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on Key Account Management; support advisory boards, speaker development, and clinical trials.
- Adhere to Codes of Practice and company standards; report adverse events/product complaints; act with integrity; maintain development plan and timely reporting.
Required:
- Ability to analyze and communicate complex medical/scientific data.
- Clear communication/presentation skills; strong planning/organization and attention to detail.
- Strategic mindset; self-motivated/autonomous; adaptable and results-focused.
- Negotiation skills; relationship building/networking/collaboration.
- Proficiency with digital tools; excellent spoken English.
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalent) + 3+ years hematologic malignancies OR RN/NP/CNP/PA or equivalent + Masterβs + 5+ years hematologic malignancies.
- 2+ years as an MSL or comparable industry/clinical role; strong travel (~60%); valid driverβs license and proximity to a major airport.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of geography/healthcare environment and external academic/medical experts.
- Track record building trust with opinion leaders; understanding regulatory requirements for field-based personnel.
Benefits/Compensation (US candidates):
- Base pay range: $160,000β$240,000.
- May be eligible for discretionary bonus/incentive and equity; medical/dental/vision, 401(k), flexible paid vacation.
