Medical Science Liaison (MSL) — field-based (Northeast: NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME)

Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and healthcare providers in hematology/oncology
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with US Medical Affairs plans
- Identify and communicate key clinical/research issues and insights from KOLs to internal departments
- Support medical education via on-site presentations, investigator meetings, national conferences, advisory boards, or regional meetings
- Support additional field activities including medical congress staffing and advisory boards
- Maintain up-to-date high-level therapy area knowledge; support Jazz’s positioning as a scientific authority
- Provide clinical presentations and respond to unsolicited questions (as appropriate) in group and one-on-one settings
- Communicate emerging data and product experience via scientific exchange (benefits/risks objectively)
- Contribute to US Medical Plan development; provide input on local strategies/tactics
- Where needed, manage relevant budget to execute Medical Plan tactics
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support Key Account Management
- Act in accordance with company standards/values; document and forward adverse event/product complaint reports per policy; adhere to national/local Codes of Practice; maintain written development plan and timely reporting

Required qualifications/skills:
- Advanced degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent) + 3 years’ hematologic malignancies experience OR RN/NP/CNP/PA (or equivalent) + Master’s (or equivalent) + 5 years’ hematologic malignancies experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an MSL or comparable industry/clinical role
- Willingness to travel ~60%; valid driver’s license and live near a major airport
- Ability to research/analyze/communicate complex scientific/medical data; strong communication/presentation; planning/organization; strategic mindset; self-motivated/autonomous; learn quickly/flexible/results-focused; negotiation skills; relationship-building/collaboration; strong digital platform/tool capability; excellent spoken English

Preferred:
- Knowledge of geography/healthcare environment and external experts in academia/medical community
- Demonstrated trust-building with opinion leaders; understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based personnel

Benefits (US candidates only, if included in posting): Base pay range $160,000–$240,000; possible annual cash bonus/incentive and discretionary equity; medical/dental/vision, 401(k), flexible paid vacation.
