Position: Medical Science Liaison, Hematology-Myeloid (Field β IL/IN)
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) in a defined geography to support scientific exchange.
- Assess the medical landscape; continuously update knowledge of treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, and scientific activities; prepare to address customer information needs.
- Partner with HCPs on disease initiatives, collaborative research, company-sponsored trials, and investigator-sponsored research (ISR) aligned to BMS objectives.
- Attend and provide scientific support at medical congresses and local/regional meetings.
- Collect and communicate medical insights to support strategy development.
- Support clinical trials (recruitment/enrollment and discussion of safe/effective use of investigational products).
- Provide recommendations on study/site feasibility to clinical development based on field knowledge and contacts.
- Act as primary liaison to investigators for investigator-sponsored research (develop, submit, perform).
Required Experience/Qualifications:
- PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP, or MD with Hematology/Oncology experience and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Ability to drive a company-provided car (safe driving history).
- Travel required; live in the managed territory or within 50 miles.
Knowledge/Skills Desired:
- Scientific/clinical area knowledge; clinical trial design/process; disease area knowledge and understanding of scientific publications; national healthcare/access environment.
- Excellent English (spoken/written).
- 3+ years in clinical/pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience; independent/teamwork; translate scientific/clinical data for HCPs; strong communication/presentation; peer-to-peer relationship building; learn new areas quickly; demonstrate integrity, urgency, accountability, innovation, passion, inclusion.
