Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Hematology-Myeloid (Field - IL/IN)

Responsibilities
- Identify and address disease/product medical needs in a defined geography.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) to drive meaningful scientific exchange, support safe/appropriate use of BMS medicines, and facilitate research.
- Identify and strengthen relationships with academic/community research thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders; use multiple interaction channels (1:1, group, remote, etc.).
- Assess medical landscape and update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and scientific activities; prepare to address customer informational needs.
- Partner with HCPs on disease initiatives, collaborative research, company-sponsored trials, and investigator-sponsored research (ISR) aligned with BMS strategy.
- Attend and provide scientific support at medical congresses and local/regional meetings.
- Support clinical trial activities: patient recruitment/enrollment and discussions on safe/effective use of investigational products.
- Provide study/site feasibility recommendations to clinical development; serve as primary liaison for investigator-sponsored research.

Qualifications & Required/Preferred Skills
- PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP, or MD with Hematology/Oncology experience and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Knowledge desired: scientific/clinical area; clinical trial design/process; disease/publication knowledge; national healthcare/access environment; excellent spoken/written English.
- Experience desired: 3+ years clinical/pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience; independent/team-oriented; translate scientific/clinical data for HCPs; strong communication/presentation; peer-to-peer relationship building; quick learning; demonstrate BMS values.
- Essential qualification: ability to drive a company-provided car with safe, responsible driving history.
- Travel required; live in the territory or within 50 miles.
